DEVELOPING A WI-FI CONNECTION

When the mind/body is not conscious of its true Self as Spirit, it creates life, through 'thinking' or taking thought itself. Rather than being inspired by Spirit, it creates from its own personal and limited vantage point. In doing so it creates a false persona and story that is simply not true. The mind/body in and of itself has limited vision, therefore, can only create life from a personal perspective. Due to not knowing itself as part of the One Life, it acts as if it is apart from Life. It treats the world as a possible threat that needs to be manipulated and controlled in order to live and be safe. It also believes it will die once the body and mind come to an end, therefore, lives its life in fear. Every decision made is made to keep itself and its loved ones safe from death and pain.

If it knew itself as Spirit, it firstly would not identify as the mind/body, therefore, would not fear death, knowing that even when the mind and body pass away, it does not. Moreover, is impersonal for it is all things seen and not seen. Spirit 'consciously' being omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent can thus see from all angles and perspectives, therefore, 'knows' what is best for one and all.

You could liken the Ego to a cancer cell. Every cell in the body 'knows' it is part of the whole, therefore, settles down to play its part within the whole body. Each cell is connected to the whole through its DNA/RNA. Lose that connection and you get an ego - a cancer cell that lives and breathes within the body with no regard or consciousness of it. The cancer cell sees itself as apart from the body rather than a part of it. Due to this it grows and reproduces at a rate that takes all nutrients from the rest of the body as well as space, often resulting in the death of the body.

The Ego dies the minute the thinking mind ceases as the Ego cannot survive beyond the creation of thought by a mind that does not know itself as Spirit. When the thinking mind ceases, being Aka meditation begins by default for it is your true nature. A still meditative mind is like WI-FI that allows the mind to connect with Spirit. Rather than thinking, the mind is thought upon. Rather than feeling the mind is felt upon and through. Spirit cannot act upon a mind in an active state. It must hold a still peaceful and quiescent state of mind to connect with Thy True Self.

"The ego is your enemy, not your friend. It is the ego that gives you wounds and hurts you. It is the ego that makes you violent, angry, jealous, competitive. It is the ego that is continuously comparing and feeling miserable." - Rajneesh
