Imagine yourself being one cell in the One Mind (Christ or Zen Mind). As soon as you light up through Self-Realization, you illuminate all around you, causing others to Self-Realize. Within time the whole mind is lit up and illuminated as it aligns with and as the true Self Spiritually. This phenomenon when it happens, is called the second coming of the Christ, when the Lion (Spirit) lies down with the Lamb (Mind). The Christ Mind is another word for the Buddha Mind or the Zen Mind, whereby life is living itself through many I's.
Think of a cancer cell. It is called such as it no longer recognizes its true Self as the Whole Body. It believes it has a life of its own apart from the body, rather than as a part of the body, therefore, it creates a life of its own which ends up killing the body. Cancer is cured when the cells of the body remember their true self as a Whole.
This is how Faith healing works. One aligns themselves with the truth of their being - they realize the true Self which goes before them to make all the crooked places straight. Crooked places mean rewiring the brain where false connections have been made.
The true Self is realized through the stillness of the mind living in the activity of and as the moment
