Mind Consciousness Aka Omega must be like a still lake - clear enough for the Alpha to see itself in, which allows for Self-Realization. Once the Self is realized, we live by Faith Aka Claircognizance or 'Knowing' as the Alpha is omniscient - all knowing. The infinite and eternal knowing of the Alpha is experienced as Faith by the Omega. Together they are One, together they are life living itself.
If the mind is active, caught up in thoughts and feelings it is like a muddy pond, in which nothing can be seen or known. We must be still and wait for the mud to settle, so that the Alpha can reflect itself upon the Omega.
